Food Service & Hospitality
The Food Service and Hospitality program prepares students for careers in the culinary arts, food service and other hospitality careers. Our Food Service and Hospitality program is a 692-hour program that takes three (3) quarters to complete which is approximately twenty-nine (29) weeks long.
According to the US bureau of Labor Statistics, food and hospitality field is one of the biggest industry sectors when it comes to the number of people employed in California.
The following is a list of all the classes in the program that are required to receive a certificate in the Food Service and Hospitality. Students must have black spill/oil resistant shoes.

BPACE - Student Accident Insurance:
Student Accident Insurance is required for all students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement. The fee must be paid each year of enrollment (July 2023 to June 2024 - $15.00)
Financial Aid:
Financial Aid services are available. A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. Grants start from $750.00 to $7,395.00 and students are able to apply online (click this link to go to our Financial Aid Section).
