Therapeutic Services (Pharmacy Technician)
This program is a 615 hour course. You will learn all the technical skills to work as an entry-level Therapeutic Services (Pharmacy Technician) in a hospital or community setting. It will take you 3 quarters to complete the program.
Training will focus on:
This class prepares the students to work as a Therapeutic Services (Pharmacy Technician) in the retail community, hospital inpatient pharmacies and other related areas. Once you complete our program you will qualify to apply for the California State Board of Pharmacy License.
Recommended:
Assessment in reading and mathematics.

$350.00* (Fees paid quarterly and does not include books and supplies)
Additional Expenses:
Books and computer/Chromebook $575.00; externship fee $75.00; materials and supplies $379.00; (2) lab coats (approx.) $90.00; required State license fee $195.00 (Materials and supplies purchased from outside vendors.). Total estimated cost including books and materials is $2,379.00.

BPACE - Student Accident Insurance:
Student Accident Insurance is required for all students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement. The fee must be paid each year of enrollment (July 2023 to June 2024 - $15.00)
Financial Aid:
Financial Aid services are available. A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree.
