Board of Education Sets 2025-26 Priorities

The Baldwin Park Unified School District Board of Education has established priorities for the 2025-26 school year following a Board development session held Saturday, July 12, at the Central School Campus.

During the session, Board Members reviewed qualitative and quantitative data from more than 5,000 respondents across recent surveys, including input from parents, students, staff, and community members.

To guide the District’s efforts, the Board adopted three key priorities for the upcoming school year:

  • Strengthen academic programs and incorporate essential life skills
  • Foster a safe, supportive learning environment built on strong school-family-community partnerships
  • Exercise fiscal prudence and maintain solvency amid changing and uncertain budget conditions

These priorities reflect the District’s ongoing commitment to student success, family engagement, and responsible stewardship of resources as it continues to serve more than 9,000 students across Baldwin Park.
