BPACE Celebrates Graduates at 2024 Commencement Ceremony

Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education (BPACE) celebrated the achievements of 250 students during its 2024 graduation ceremony held outdoors at the BPACE campus. The event, which took place on Tuesday, marked the culmination of the 2023-24 school year and honored students who earned certificates in Career and Technical Education (CTE), high school diplomas, or General Education Development (GED) certificates.

Hosted by BPACE Director Dr. Veronica Valenzuela, the ceremony included special guests teacher Jeff Palmer and instructor Mark Stemile. The event featured a special red carpet and multiple photo backdrops, providing numerous photo opportunities for graduates and their families. The pre-ceremony festivities, including refreshments, were prepared and served by the school's culinary arts program.

During the event, top students were recognized for their honors and special achievements. These students received flowers as part of their accolades. Staff and students delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing their experiences and words of encouragement before the formal diploma ceremony commenced.

BPACE, known for its diverse range of over 10 CTE programs and various academic pathways, continues to support student success and career readiness. The 2024 graduation ceremony underscored the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and opportunities for adult learners.
