Administrative Assistant

This program is a 620 hour course and will take 4 quarters to complete.  This class offers courses focused on solutions for today’s business needs.  Practical computer applications necessary to run a successful business or organizations includes but not limited to:  Office 365 for cloud-based solutions, desktop applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.  Windows and Mac operating systems.  Basic business Math and business English, and keyboarding.

For Advanced students, also available Microsoft Dynamics 365 modern solutions for business as the business needs grow.  Learn how to avoid duplication of data, manual processes and how to avoid security issue. Master Adobe Suite for image editing and graphic design.

 

Recommended:

Assessment in reading and language.

 

Registration Fee:

$350.00 (Fees paid quarterly do not include books and materials.)

 

Additional Expenses:

Books:  $105.00, materials and supplies $424.00.  The estimated total cost including books and supplies is $1,929.00.

 

BPACE - Student Accident Insurance:

Student Accident Insurance is required for all students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement.  The fee must be paid each year of enrollment (July 2021 to June 2022 - $15.00)

Financial Aid:

Financial Aid services are available.  A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid.  Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree.  Grants start from $672.00 to $6,495.00 and students are able to apply online (click this link to go to our Financial Aid Section).
