Cosmetology Crossover

This course is a 300 hour program.  It is designed to prepare students for the State Board Exam.

 

Students will receive hands-on professional training in:

  • Make Up
  • Facials
  • Manicures and Pedicures
  • Acrylic Nails

 

Pre-requisite:

Proof of Barbering license and TABE test score at 7th grade Reading and Language level.

 

Full Time Program

The full time course will take 1 quarters to complete.  Estimated total cost including books and supplies is $2,035.24

 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday:  8:00 am to 4:30 pm

 

Registration Fee:

$610.00* (Fees are paid quarterly does not include books and supplies)

 

Part Time Program

The full time course will take 2 quarters to complete.  Estimated total cost including books and supplies is $2,035.24

 

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday:  5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

 

Registration Fee:

$305.00* (Fees are paid quarterly does not include books and supplies)

 

*Additional expenses for full and part time programs:

Cosmetology kit is $492.43 and includes the English text (Spanish books are extra cost).  Purchase is required.  Kits are purchased the first day or each quarter by new students.  State Board test registration fee:  $125.00; State Board kit purchase and supplies fee (approx.):  $252.50; including uniforms; additional supplies:  $555.31

BPACE - Student Accident Insurance:

Student Accident Insurance is required for all students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement.  The fee must be paid each year of enrollment (July 2021 to June 2022 - $15.00)
