This certified course is a 1600 hour program. It is designed to prepare students for employment in the cosmetology industry including preparation for the State Board Exam.
Students will receive professional training in:
Assessment score of 7th grade level in Reading and Language.
Full Time Program
The full time course will take 5 quarters to complete. Estimated total cost including books and supplies is $4,828.80
Monday – Friday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Part Time Program
The full time course will take 9 quarters to complete. Estimated total cost including books and supplies is $4,523.80
Monday – Thursday: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Cosmetology kit is $714.85 and includes the English text (Spanish books are extra cost). The Job Hunting Handbook $8.00. Purchase is required. Kits and shirts must be purchased the first day of each quarter. State Board test registration fee: $134.00; State Board kit purchase and supplies fee (approx.): $252.50; additional supplies: $669.45; including uniforms. Minimum order of 2 black BPACE t-shirts per level and 1 sweatshirt (freshman level).

BPACE - Student Accident Insurance:
Student Accident Insurance is required for all students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, containing a clinical component and other programs with a safety requirement. The fee must be paid each year of enrollment (July 2021 to June 2022 - $15.00)
