History of BPACE

Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education (BPACE) was established and began serving student in 1960.  Located in California’s beautiful San Gabriel Valley, the main office and school site is headquartered at 4640 North Maine Avenue in Baldwin Park and courses are also held throughout the community.  BPACE has become one of the state’s leading comprehensive adult school in Los Angeles County.  The school has been recognized with awards for adult basic education, English as a second language, courses for older adults and career technical education.  BPACE provides students a foundation of technical, academic and communication skills upon which they can continue to grow, learn and advance.  BPACE is dedicated to teaching its community and adult students.  

 

In today’s job market, it is critical to have the knowledge and skills to be competitive.  Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education offers high quality, short term programs, that can help students get the skills needed to get a job, keep a job and improve a student’s career.  Unique to BPACE’s curriculum are the opportunities that we offer students to work hands-on, with the public, in their field of study.  We are building partnerships with local businesses to give students the chance to engage in internships.  Our prices are very competitive and Federal Pell Grants are available to eligible student for qualified programs.
